Our own interpretation
We were allowed to study the painting for 5 minutes, and then Mr.Sherratt hid it!!! We were given some nice-quality local paper, a soft pencil (2B) and a choice of what to do the colours with. We had to try and remember the painting as wellas we could, but it didn't matter if it wasn't just like the original.
Above are a few of the best examples our work.
"I chose these pictures for several different reasons. Two of them are very detailed drawings, with a lot of care taken over the colouring - they chose to use coloured pencils. These two students have a very good sense of proportion, shape and composition. I chose the other two because of the bright, vivid and exciting colours. These two students chose oil pastels, and obviously really enjoyed creating bright and attractive images." Mr. Sherratt
